City Cleaning
ICC College supports city cleaning initiatives that encourage a cleaner, healthier environment. By involving staff and students in community clean-up activities, the college promotes civic responsibility, teamwork and pride in shared public spaces.
These activities help learners understand that positive change can begin with practical actions and a willingness to serve the community.
Inmate Visits
As part of its community outreach, ICC College participates in visits to correctional facilities, offering encouragement and opportunities for respectful human connection. These visits reflect values of dignity, hope, personal reflection and the possibility of positive change.
Through listening and sharing encouragement, participants are reminded that every person deserves respect and the opportunity to work toward a better future.
Hospital Visits
Hospital visits are an opportunity for ICC staff and students to show kindness and support to patients and families experiencing difficult times. Conversations, small acts of assistance and the sharing of food or water, where appropriate, can help people feel remembered and supported.
These experiences also help students develop empathy, communication and a stronger sense of responsibility toward others.
Building Responsible Citizens
ICC College believes education should develop both professional ability and concern for others. Community service activities encourage students to contribute positively to their neighbourhoods and to the wider community in Papua New Guinea.
